This practical module follows on from the classroom based Foundation course. This module is designed apply the principles of site selection, risk assessment and health & safety covered in the Foundation module. However this course is mainly concerned with physical skills of safely working with live honeybees colonies, manipulation of frames containing bees, hygiene and identifying stages of the brood and castes of bees.
The course runs one full day from 10am. On a date to be arranged in April or May. Weather dependent.
There is a minimum number of students required to run this course. The price is inclusive of VAT
