Honey in the comb is a pure as honey gets. The comb is cut by hand from the frames and popped into a box. It is literally straight from the hive.
Borage is grown for its seed which you will be in the health shops as Star Flower oil. The honey has a light colour and subtle fragrant flavour.
There is a great deal of work in producing honeycomb. The hives need to be placed by the fields in the summer. If the weather is kind the bees will produce an excess of honey. Then the sticky business of selecting the best comb, cutting and packing. But it's worth all of the effort that goes in to winning the honey.
