The Bee Farmer opens for colony visits from Saturday 13th June. Email events@thebeefarmer.co.uk to book a time and date for your visit. There are two session per day starting at 10.30am and 1.30pm.
Remember sessions are weather dependant. This is not just for your comfort, bees do not like cold or wet weather either. In the event a sessions is cancelled, it will be rescheduled at mutually convenient date
We can offer the visits because:
a. Numbers are small, less than 4
b. It is held outdoors
c. Visitor wear a bee suit which has a face covering, a veil.
d. Visitors wear gloves
e. Social distancing is observed
The Bee Farmer will take additional precautions by cleaning veils with anti-bacterial solutions and rotating bee suits so they are aired between uses. Visitors are reminded to bring marigold type gloves and to wear footwear that covers the ankles. Also bring your phone for pictures and a sense of wonder or trepidation.

If you or one of your party develop symptoms of COVID-19 between arranging the visit and the actual visit please cancel. Your booking is valid into the autumn of 2020 so there is plenty of opportunity to reschedule a visit.
